Come and take it

How many of you have seen this pro-choice sign?

Do you know the history of it?

"Inspired by the historic "Come And Take" battle flag of the Texas Revolution, this version of the unofficial logo of the movement to repeal Texas' severely restrictive abortion laws was conceived and designed by longtime Texas Troublemakers Carrie Collier-Brown and Cole Latimer." http://store.bumperactive.com/come-and-take-it-uterus-sticker-pack-of-three/

"Come and Take it" battle flag of the Texas Revolution.

There are t-shirts and stickers you can purchase for your very own.

Contrary to what some anti-choicers believe this has nothing to so with communism and everything to do with defending a woman's right to chose. I hope this clears up the myth about this.

I'm back

I changed my mind on closing this blog after getting banned on this thread, https://disqus.com/home/channel/faithreligion/discussion/channel-faithreligion/march_for_life/.

The mod claims I'm spamming her thread. Give me a fucking break, commenting is "spamming?" Really? I say bullshit to that bullshit.

Anti-choicers bully and harass women seeking abortion services. Amy Goodman spoke to filmmaker Nonny de la Peña who made the virtual reality film ""Across the Line." It's a seven-minute immersive virtual reality experience that puts you in the shoes of a women walking the gauntlet of anti-choice protesters to reach an abortion clinic. You can watch the interview by Amy Goodman at http://www.democracynow.org/2016/1/25/across_the_line_virtual_reality_immerses
